I think Govt is too weak willed to address financialization, so it is best to support  private companies. 

I think without addressing financialization the CHIPSAct is meaningless;unless the Govt intends to permanently support these companies.

Boy is this spot on. I sometimes quarrel with NC, but they got this one right. The only thing I would add is that the U.S. government dropped the ball in addition to the industry and Wall Street.
